Ghana and Celtic midfielder Mubarak Wakaso could miss next month’s AFCON in Equatorial Guinea after posting a picture of a horrific gash above his left eye.
Though he offered no explanation for the cause of the incident,the powerful midfielder attached a message to his post of the photo.

It is not clear whether the injury was a training ground injury or was caused by an altercation off the pitch.
Wakaso has been a regular for the national team since 2013 and is expected to be named into Avram Grant’s team for the AFCON.
