Aduana Stars left-winger Daniel Darkwah has been appointed as the Dormaa based club’s new skipper.

The 27-year-old midfielder replaces right-back Godfred Saka, who was stripped of his captaincy after leading some players to question the decisions of immediate past Coach Nurudeen Amadu.

Darkwah’s first game as captain will be against Techiman City in the Ghana Premier League match-day 3 fixture this weekend.

This Aduana Stars team that has been dealing with the sensitive issue of disunity will be seeking their first win on Sunday under the tutelage of Coach Kwesi Ankomah as the club continues to talk Masud Dramani into becoming their substantive coach.
