MOBA vrs Santa Clausians: Mfantsipim-Adisadel Fun Games set for launch

The National Associations (Old Boys) of Mfantsipim School (MOBA) and Adisadel College (Santaclausians) have announced that the official launch of the 14th edition of the Mfantsipim-Adisadel Funday Games will take place on Wednesday July 16, 2014 at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, Accra at 6:00pm.

The launch would be performed by Dr. Francis Poku, Ebusuapanyin of the MOBA and Mr. Franklin Alan Nuamah, National President of the Adisadel Old Boys Association.

It will officially start the media campaign for the event, raise funds and outdoor the overall winner’s trophy and souvenirs for the Games.

The organizers will also give out information about participation, activities for the day and sponsorship opportunities amongst many others.

Other executives of the National Associations of the two schools and their three sister schools, namely Wesley Girls High School, Holy Child and Mfantsiman Girls, representatives from the schools, old boys and girls, representatives of sponsors for the event and the media will be present.

The Mfantsipim-Adisadel Fun Day Games, which comes off on Saturday August 30, 2014 at the El-Wak Sports Stadium, Accra, will bring together old and present students, build a platform for business networking, offer patrons and sponsors the opportunity to share business experiences informally and provide companies with a platform to position their corporate products and/or services to the over 3000 people expected.

The theme for this year’s Games is “Uniting a Generation of Change Makers”.

Activities lined up for the event include: Cricket (Old Boys), Football (Decade teams and round robin for the girls), Basketball (Old Boys in the Universities) athletics and a special ‘Jama competition’.

The launch is being organized by the Mfantsipim-Adisadel Fun Day Games Committee and sponsored by the Multimedia Group and the African University College of Communication.
