Kotoko Fans Our Biggest Sponsors – Opoku Nti

The Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Opoku Nti has described supporters of the club as their biggest sponsors.

The Porcupine Warriors boast of approximately eight millions fans, with about 60%  of them trooping to match venues across the country to support the club every season.

And Opoku Nti believes the weight they throw behind the club, and the hard earned money they pay to watch the club, makes them the clubs biggest asset.

“Kotoko’s biggest sponsors is the supporters of the club. They are biggest asset,” Opoku Nti told Ash FM.

“Every success the club has chalked is down to the support we get from the supporters. We have supporters across the country to the extent that we sometimes dwarfed home teams during matches.” He added.

There were rumours that Kotoko’s sponsorship relationship with Latex foam is under threat, but Opoku is not worried.

“Kotoko supporters is our greatest sponsors for our. We can’t have any sponsor greater than the people who has always been with us through thick and thin.

“The difference between Kotoko and any other Ghanaian Club is our supporters. They make the biggest impact; watching us play, rallying behind the team with prayers, etc. You can’t ask for anything better than this.” He said.
