Ghana Paralympic flagbearer Emmanuel Tettey gets Assistive Device as Team Ghana land in Japan

The Br Tarcisius Prosthetics and Orthotics Training College Nsawam Ghana 🇬🇭 within 5 Days have made an Above Knee Prosthesis (Assistive Devices) for our Paralympic Athlete Mr Emmanuel Oku Nii Tettey.

The institution is ready to partner NPC Ghana to start a project on making assistive devices for Para Athletes in Ghana.

Mr. Emmanuel Nii Tettey Oku shall be the flagbearer for Ghana during the opening ceremony at the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

The Ghana Paralympic Committee is calling on sports loving Ghanaians to pray for the team.

Be informed, Team Ghana have arrived in Tokyo this afternoon ahead of pre-Games camping in Inawashiro.

A contingent of 14 made up of five athletes, five coaches
and 4 officials were received by the Ambassador of Ghana to Japan, His Excellency Frank Okyere.

 

The Ghana Paralympic Committee will like to thank the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif for the honourable support given the team so far.
