Hasaacas Ladies Present WAFU B Trophy to Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia

Hasaacas Ladies Football Club presented the WAFU B Women’s Champions League trophy to His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Jubilee House.

His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana received our gallant women’s players, the Technical Team members including Head Coach Yussif Basigy, Executive Members and the President of the Club, Benjamin Nanabayin Eyison.

The Club presented a citation to the Vice President for his outstanding support prior to the WAFU B Women’s Champions League;

“For your outstanding contribution to the development of women’s football. It is with great pleasure that Hasaacas Ladies Football Club would like to honour and motivate you to keep having a positive impact on women’s football in Ghana.

“This appreciation is in recognition of your selfless support and contribution to our successful campaign in the maiden edition of the WAFU B Womens’s Champions League.

“The entire team of Hasaacas Ladies Football Club appreciates your generous support.”

The second gentleman of the land took to his Twitter Page to recount the day with the following note:

“This afternoon, I welcomed newly-crowned CAF Women’s Champions League Zone B Champions,@HasaacasLadies to the Jubilee House. The team presented to me the trophy they won in Ivory Coast, which has also qualified them to the final CAF Women’s Champions League in Egypt.

“Alongside the coveted WAFU B title were the two domestic titles which make up the treble for the 2020/2021 Football Season.

“On behalf of President @NAkufoAddo
and the government, I congratulated them for their outstanding and historic achievement.”

The event met all necessary objectives as Hasaacas Ladies FC showered outstanding praise through the technical head Yussif Basigy.
