Isaac Dogboe lists support of Sports Minister for boxing development

Former World Boxing Organisation (WBO) junior featherweight champion, Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe has called on the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Mustapha Ussif to discus the future of boxing in the country.

Dogboe, who is seeking to reclaim his lost world title is seeking to assist the Ministry to revive and reorganize the sport in the country.

The boxer wrote on his Facebook wall:

“My team and I had an excellent conversation with the Minister Of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif,” 26 year old Dogboe wrote.

“Per our discussion I am glad to have come to an agreement to be working with them side by side to improve the sport of boxing in Ghana,” he added.

“Thank you Honourable. Team DOGBOE appreciates your efforts.”

 

Dogboe also took the opportunity to present his North Africa Boxing Federation (NABF) featherweight title he won recently.

Dogboe, defeated Adam Lopez to win the title as he searches for glory in world boxing again.
