Hearts gaffer Samuel Boadu named Ghana coach of the seson

Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has been named Ghana Premier League coach of the 2020/2021 season after a successful campaign.

Coach Samuel Boadu led the Accra-based team to a domestic football sweep for the first time in eleven years, winning both the league and the FA Cup.

Samuel Boadu joined Hearts of Oak after leaving the Medeama SC in March 2021 and led them to the Ghana Premier League title.

Boadu has coached the Phobians in 18 games, winning 11, drawing 5, and losing only three.

With a 53 percent win record in 34 games, Boadu has the highest win percentage of all the coaches in the league this season.

Coach Boadu won the prize over Mariano Barreto of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum of WAFA SC, Annor Walker of Great Olympics, and Vladislav Viric of Dreams FC.
