CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe donates $500k to displaced communities in Pemba, Mozambique

CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe visited Cabo Delgado communities who were displaced by the military insurgents in Pemba, Mozambique this morning and donated USD 500 000 on behalf of the Motsepe Foundation.

He was joined by the Governor of Cabo Delgado, Valige Tauabo, CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba, the Mozambique Football Association, President Faizal Sidat, and co-founder and CEO of the Motsepe Foundation, Dr. Precious Moloi-Motsepe.

Approximately 2000 displaced community members received football balls and bibs from CAF.

In the afternoon, the CAF President will be in Maputo for the launch of the African Schools Programme.
