De-luxy Professional Boxing League returns with Fight Night 9 this Saturday July 23

The De-luxy Professional Boxing League Fight Nights have been spiced with great entertainment from popular musicians and the next show on Saturday, July 23rd will feature Lucky Mensah.

Certainly, everyone who goes to the Bukom Boxing Arena is there to have fun, relax or release stress by watching great boxing or listening to good music.

Previous fight nights had seen the likes of Bukom Banku, AK Songstress, Adane Best, Adote Tetor, KK Fosu, King Jerry, Tinny, and Shasha Marley all perform.

In the ring, boxers most of whom were hitherto unknown have become popular and are now stars in their rights.

After the discovery of John Quaye, the arena has featured The Soldier, Zak Hero, and many others who are potential world-class boxers.

At the last event, another boxer who hailed from Bolgatanga was discovered. Though Sulley Mohammed representing the Sea View Boxing Gym lost, he was the toast of the night and won the hearts of many guests.

Fight Night 9 promises more excitement and fireworks because the league is improving after each event and while the production team of organisers, Imax Media Promotions are learning, so are the gyms, boxers, and even the fans.

The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has been commended both locally and internationally for coming up with the innovation, and President Abraham Kotei Neequaye is very proud of himself and his board as well as the staff, referees, judges, ring marshalls, medics media and all those who are involved in the planning and implementation, not to forget post-match activities.

The League has a long way to go, and we pray that it gets better and bigger till the final stages and the proposed Presidential Fight Night climax.

Currently, Charles Quartey Boxing Foundation is at the top of the League, but Fit Square has an outstanding bout to clear to determine the real leader. At the bottom of the table are Wisdom and The Gym, but they have vowed to climb up.

Commendations are in place for sponsors De-luxy Paint, Renault, Max Buy, Techno, Imax Electronics, and Max TV.
