Ghanaian defender Godfred Asante joins Ethiopian club Dredawa

Ghanaian centre-back Godfred Asante has joined Ethiopian topflight side Dredawa.

The former Asante Kotoko player signed a one-year deal to join the Ethiopian outfit after his contract with Guinean side Horoya expired.

Asante is expected to play a key role for Dredawa in the 2022/23 season.

The 32-year-old previously played for Hearts of Lions, Great Olympics and Dreams FC in Ghana.

He last played for Horoya AC in the Guinean topflight league.
