Kotoko compensate fans with reduced gate fees for Hearts clash

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have announced the reduction of gate fees for the Betpawa Premier League Week 3 game against Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday, September 25, 2022.

According to Kotoko Management, the decision is to express their gratitude to their fans who rallied behind the team in their disappointing CAF Champions League campaign.

The Porcupines painfully exited Africa’s elite club competition in the first round, following a penalty shootout heartbreak to Rail Club de Kadiogo of Burkina Faso at the Baba Yara Stadium.

A club statement said: “Management of Asante Kotoko wish to express its profound gratitude to our fabulous supporters who turned up in their numbers to support us on Sunday”.

“Sadly the results did not go as we all expected but together we will surely bounce back victoriously. As a token of our appreciation to our cherished fans ahead of our super clash, the management have reduced the gate fees”.

Football fans who will throng the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday will be expected to pay either GH¢10, GH¢20, GH¢30, or GH¢50 to watch the Asante Kotoko versus Hearts of Oak match.
