The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Ladies have retained their Africa Cup for Club Champions (ACCC) title in spectacular fashion, defeating Egyptian club Smouha HC 3-0 in the final held this afternoon in Egypt.
As defending champions, the GRA Ladies once again displayed exceptional skill and teamwork, dominating their opponents and securing a clean sheet to cap off an impressive tournament run.
The team’s outstanding performance is a testament to their resilience and commitment to excellence on the continental stage.
Earlier in the day, Ghana’s Minister for Sports & Recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams, had rallied the team with an inspiring message, urging them to seize the opportunity to make history.
“Play with heart, play with pride, and let teamwork and passion lead to victory,” he encouraged.
The GRA Ladies not only rose to the occasion but also exceeded expectations, solidifying their position as one of Africa’s premier hockey teams.
Their triumph is a moment of immense pride for Ghana and a celebration of the nation’s growing prominence in the sport.
