Ghana’s Prince Oliver Ngissah to officiate at Africa Cup

Prince Oliver Ngissah will become the first judge in the history of Ghana to judge at an international championship outside Ghana when he travels with the President of the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (GBFA), Abdul Hayye Yartey to South Africa for the IFBB President Santonja Africa Cup.

Oliver was part of the first set of trained judges that were certified by the GBFA in collaboration with the IFBB and the IFBB Academy in March 2022.

Though Oliver has judged at the IFBB West African Championship three times and on the Man Ghana and Flex Night of Champions stages, this will be his first outside Ghana

“I am so excited that Oliver will have a role to play alongside other international judges in South Africa. I spoke to the organizer of the competition Mr. Wayne Price to register the interest of Oliver, and he confirms his role,” Abdul Hayye Yartey said

“I would also like to show my appreciation to the IFBB President, Mr. Rafael Santonja and the IFBB Academy for having faith in the GBFA to grant us the opportunity to certify judges and personnel trainers,” the GBFA President added.

Mr. Yartey took the opportunity to advise other trained and certified judges and personal trainers to make good use of their certification and explore the numerous opportunities out there.
