The 2nd edition of the Obour Cycling Challenge returns on June 15 with the 120 km race set for Nsawam to Lindador in the Eastern Region.
Cyclists are expected to check in at 6:00 am, and the competition starts exactly at 7am.
All Club Cyclists are invited to register and be part of history in the upcoming Obour Cycling Challenge 2025.
Registration is cool GH¢7O for each cyclist and can be done on the Obour Cycling Challenge platform. Registration closes on Friday June 13, 2025.
Cash prizes for the winners in the 2nd edition of Obour Cycling Challenge are as follows:
The winner for the male professionals who will cover the 120 kilometres will receive GH¢2,000 while the runner-up will receive GH¢1,500. The first runner-up will also receive GH¢1,000, and cyclists who place in the positions of 4th to 10th will all get GH¢200 consolation each.
The oldest cyclist among the male professionals will receive GH¢500, while the youngest cyclist will also receive GH¢500.
The female professionals will also cover 40 kilometres kilometres on the day, and the prizes are as follows:
The winner on the day will receive GH¢500, the second-placed cyclist will get GH¢300, whiles the third-place cyclist will also get GH¢200.
Medals will be presented to all cyclists who participate.
