ITF World Tour Juniors returns to Accra in September

Ghana will again host six consecutive weeks of International Tennis Federation World Tour Juniors Competition at the National Tennis Centre in Accra.

TFG Holdings President and Tournament Organiser, Roger Crawford said he is excited about continuing the six weeks of junior competition in Accra.

Mr. Crawford said he is proud that Accra is the only place on the junior calendar which hosts six weeks of competition at the same location. He said this helps players from all over the world with the cost of traveling to different cities every other week searching for points.

The tournament kicks off with two weeks of J30 events starting September 9th.

This would be followed by four weeks of J60 events beginning September 23rd.

Ghanaians Raphael Ankrah and Raphael Dowuona are expected to lead the next generation of young players striving to make their mark on the international stage.

On the girls side, Sisu Tomegah and Tracy Ampah will be in action for the hosts.

Players are expected from over forty countries to compete for valuable ITF points in the six weeks of competition.
