The Minister’s involvement has been widely applauded as a sign of the government’s renewed commitment to the growth of cycling and the promotion of healthy, active lifestyles through sport.

“This unprecedented act is a true breakthrough for Ghana Cycling and a positive signal ahead of the upcoming International Tour Du Ghana, slated for November 13th to 24th, 2025,” said Shaaban Mohammed, Secretary General of the Ghana Cycling Federation.

“It marks a new era of partnership and recognition from government towards the cycling community,” he added.

The Ghana Cycling Federation hails this moment as a historic milestone that will strengthen national support for the sport and inspire a new generation of riders across the country.
