Chelsea star, Callum Hudson Odoi has paid a visit to Ghana President, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo.
The 20-year-old who arrived in the West African country last week visited Ghana’s presidency on Monday.
The winger is on holidays in Ghana after the end of the European football campaign.
During his visit, Hudson Odoi presented a customized jersey to President Akufo Akufo Addo.
A portion of Ghana’s presidency statement reads, “On Monday, 7th June 2021, Ghanaian-born Chelsea footballer, Callum Hudson-Odoi, paid a courtesy call on me at Jubilee House, the seat of our nation’s presidency.”
On Sunday, the enterprising winger was at the Accra Sports Stadium to watch the matchday 28 games between Accra Great Olympics and Hearts of Oak which ended 1-1.
He was hugely welcomed by the fans of the Phobian club.
The Chelsea Academy graduate has been a long-term target of the Ghana Football Association to consider a nationality switch despite capping three times for England at the senior level.
Hudson-Odoi was born to Ghanaian parents in London, his dad Bismark Odoi featured for Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak in the early nineties.

He managed to score two goals in Chelsea’s UEFA Champions League campaign this season despite not tasting a minute in the final game against Manchester City last Saturday.
In all competitions, Hudson-Odoi made 32 appearances for the London based club where he managed to score four goals with three assists in the just-ended season.
