Ghana FA mandate Premier, Women’s, Division One League clubs to play in Juvenile League from next season

Premier League, Women’s Premier League and Division One League clubs are to participate in the Juvenile leagues in their localities beginning from the 2021/22 season.

This follows an Executive Council meeting at the GFA headquarters in Accra.

This new policy is to help in the broader search for the best football talents across the country. These U-17 Juvenile Teams of the top tier clubs will play in the juvenile League competitions at the district football level in their various localities to create excitement in their catchment area.

The new Policy is aimed at unearthing more talents and developing players at the grassroots level as a conveyor belt for the senior sides.

This Policy will take immediate effect and is expected to identify, horn, develop and nature top quality talents from the woods of the country.
