Minister for Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif, has said that Ghana will host a very spectacular and historical Africa Games come 2023 to showcase the cultural and traditional endowments of the nation.
He said the nation will scout for talents all over the globe in order to recruit talented Ghanaians to participate in the national colours and bring honours to the nation.
He said Ghana was 15th in the last Games, but the target is to be among the first five in the next games Ghana is hosting.
He was speaking at the inauguration of seven out of the seventeen Sub- Committees scheduled to be inaugurated by the Local Organising Committee to assist in their work.
Dr Kwaku Ofosu Asare, the Executive Chairman of the LOC for the 2023 Africa Games, was the chairman of the program , that inaugurated the seven Sub Committees out of the 17 that are required by the African Union for the hosting of the games.
Among the Committees inaugurated today, was the Media and Communications Committee which has the Director of Programs of Oman Fm, Dr Moses Okine as a member.

The other six sub-committees which were also announced are; Technical Committee, Marketing and Sponsorship Committee, Legacy Committee, Legal Committee, Finance and Ticketing Committee, Medical and Anti Doping Committee.
