Young Joojo Awinongya presents ‘King of the Jungle’ belt to Alhaji Inusah

US born teenage boxing sensation with Ghanaian parentage, Joseph Awinongya Jr has presented the ‘King of the Jungle’ title belt to Alhaji Inusah Sally, CEO of Inus Company Limited, at the latter’s office in Accra.

The special presentation was in recognition of Alhaji Sally’s support towards Ghanaian boxers and his contributions to the development and promotion of the pugilistic sport in the country.

The juvenile boxer was in the company of his father, Joseph Awinongya Snr., a former boxer who moved from Ashaiman in Accra to Italy over a decade ago but currently based in the USA.

He now ranks among the best trainers in the US and trains the likes of Osumanu Adama and others.

The CEO of Inus called for more support for Ghana Boxing saying the nation is blessed with a lot of talents adding that boxing can break the poverty cycle.

Team Awinongya also presented boxing equipment worth thousands of dollars to various boxing gyms across the country.

The items were received by Mustapha Nettey, Treasurer of the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF).

President of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) Abraham Neequaye, expressed joy over the achievements of Awinongya Jr. and said the doors of the GBA is always opened to them.
