GPL match day 13 review: Hearts dismantle Wonders, Kotoko hold Chelsea, Ashgold humble Sharks

Hearts of Oak leading scorer this season, Kofi Kordzi has reportedly been dropped form the squad to face fierce rivals Asante Kotoko in the President Cup.

The two glamorous club square off in Accra for the President’s Cup on Friday, March 4, 2021.

Kordzi, who has bagged in seven goals in the Premier League has dipped in form forcing coach Samuel Boadu to rely on Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Isaac Mensah.

According to reports, Samuel Boadu believes the forward needs time to rediscover his form hence the reason for dropping him.

Kofi Kordzi has not started in Hearts of Oak’s last five game in all competitions.

Meanwhile winger Patrick Razak will be in the team for Friday’s game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo will be present as the game is played in his honour.

Hearts and Kotoko played out a pulsating goalless draw a fortnight ago in the Ghana Premier League.
