Chris Hughton handed three-year contract as Ghana coach – Reports

Black Stars new coach, Chris Hughton has been handed a three-year contract by the Ghana FA, according to local media reports.

The 64 year old trainer was appointed last month following the departure of Otto Addo after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Details of his contract has however remained a mystery because the country’s football governing body did not disclose it during the official announcement.

Few days ahead of his unveiling, Kickoffghana has gathered that the former Tottenham manager’s deal as Ghana boss will run until 2026.

He is set to be outdoored in Kumasi on Monday, March 20, 2023, as part of the build-up to the match against Angola.

The first engagement between the coach and the media will be a platform for the Football Association to also make public the targets, terms of engagement, and other relevant information pertaining to the manager’s work.
