Karela’s Owusu Boakye wins goalking, Santasi’s Banahene named MVP – 2023 Ashantifest Soccer

Emmanuel Owusu Boakye of Kwadaso scored 7 goals to win the top scorer award of the 2023 MTN Ashantifest Community Soccer competition following the conclusion of the now 3rd annual event.

With his team, Kwadaso pocketing a cool five thousand Ghana Cedis (Gh¢5,000) for finishing third, young Boakye who plays for Karela FC in the Ghana Premier League added the golden shoe to his own party, beating Atonsu’s Stephen Antwi who netted 6 goals despite his side’s early elimination into the runner-up spot.
