Daniel Lomotey joins Medeama on a two-year deal

Reigning Ghana Premier League champions and CAF Champions League contenders, Medeama SC have strengthened their set up with the addition of striker Daniel Lomotey.

After parting ways with Algerian club ES Setif, the former WAFA forward signs a two-year agreement with the Tarkwa based club.

”We are delighted to announce the signing of former Ghana Under-20 striker Daniel Adzigodi Lomotey Agbloe on a permanent contract,” stated an official club statement.

“Lomotey has put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal after leaving Algerian giants ES Setif,” it added.

The former WAFA striker is anticipated to be crucial for Medeama this season as they contend on three fronts.

Lomotey is very much remembered for scoring 4 goals against Medeama in a 5-4 thriller during his stint with WAFA.

The forward has already arrived in Cape Coast to join his teammates in preparation for their match against Horoya AC after advancing to the next round of the CAF Champions League.
