The World Boxing Association (WBA), the Andorran Boxing Federation and Team Solé Promotions join forces to bring to Andorra the WBA Future program in November 4, which aims to develop new boxing talents and has been successfully carried out in Colombia and the United States.
The Poliesportiu d’Andorra coliseum will host the professional debut of Fabio Rodrigues, a local fighter, who will fight in the super featherweight division against Frenchman Salomon Kitoko, also a debutant.
The Andorran boxing fans are looking forward to seeing Rodrigues, who has fought 19 amateur bouts and has fought and won in complex places such as France, which have made him a promising local boxer.
The WBA Future of Andorra Boxing, which will be held in conjunction with Team Solé Promotions and the Andorran Boxing Federation, will feature three more professional fights, in which stand out the names of the Spanish Alex Leataud and Albert Villa, who will debut at cruiserweight and welterweight respectively. Meanwhile, Diego Silva, from Argentina, will fight his seventh bantamweight bout. In addition, as is customary in these events, the evening will give amateur boxers the opportunity to step into the ring.
This important event, which seeks to develop boxing at all levels, can be seen live from 6:00 p.m. Spanish time through Sportium’s Twitter channel (@sportiumtv) and the YouTube channel of the World Boxing Federation (@sportiumtv).
