Vision FC beat Uncle T to win Zone 3 with a game in hand, qualify for Premier League

Vision FC recorded a 2-1 victory over Uncle T United at Tema New Town Astro Turf on Sunday to win Zone 3 of the Access Bank Division One League.

Gideon Ofori Offei scored in the 41st minute to give Vision FC a snug before halftime.

Back from the break, Felix Doku Narh leveled matters for Uncle T United in the 60th minute before Frank Duku fetched the winner for Vision FC in the 83rd minute.

With one game to spare, Vision FC are atop the Zone table with 55 points, 4 points ahead of Hohoe United who are second on the log.

Hohoe United beat Akyem Tafo Susubiribi FC 2-0 with Faruk Mohammed and Sena Ati scoring in either half to give the home side victory. Faruk netted from the spot inside the 16th minute before Sena Ati doubled the lead for inside 75 minutes.

Still in the Zone, Kotoku Royals pipped Attram De Visser 1-0 at Akim Oda Sports Stadium to dent their Premiership dreams. Tahir Mensah scored the only goal of the game in the 74th minute to give his side all three points.
