Road to Paris 2024 qualification now closed yesterday 30th June, 2024.

Recap of Ghanaian track and field athletes that has qualified and those that cam close to qualification. Ghana team.

– Men’s 100m (56 athletes required)
Benjamin Azamati – ranked 39th – qualified
Abdul-Rasheed Saminu ranked 54th – qualified but pending 3 wildcard slots tomorrow 2nd July.
Isaac Botsio ranked 59th – not qualified / still has a chance up until 2nd July.
Joseph Paul Amoah ranked 85th – not qualified

– Men’s 200m (48 athletes needed)
Abdul-Rasheed Saminu – Qualified by Entry Standard
Joe Paul Amoah ranked 62nd – not qualified
Ibrahim Fuseini ranked 70th – not qualified

– Men’s 800m (48 athletes required)
Alex Amankwa ranked 54th – not qualified still has a chance up until 2nd July.

– Women’s High jump (32 athletes required)
Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah – Qualified by Entry Standard

– Men’s 4x100m (32 teams required)
Ghana – Qualified by Designated Competition

*Tomorrow, 2nd July is final if an athlete requires a spot.
*The final-compiled list will be published and shared with Paris 2024 LOC is 7th
