Patrick Chinyemba arrives in Paris for 2024 Olympic Games

Zambia’s African Games flyweight champion Patrick Chinyemba aka Baddo has landed in Paris, France.

The man of many firsts, boxing sensation Patrick ‘Baddo’ Chinyemba, after becoming the first Zambian athlete to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, has now become the first Zambian athlete to depart for the pre-Games camp to be held in France.

9Chinyemba left this Lusaka in the company of coach Wisdom Mudenda for Paris, where he will be training until the Games kick off later this month.

The rest of Team Zambia’s athletes will continue departing for the pre-Games camp in a phased manner and will regroup in France ahead of the start of the Games.

Chinyemba, one of Africa’s hot prospects for a medal in the Olympic Games, is accompanied by his coach Wisdom Mudenda who’s on the right in this photo on arrival in Paris for a training camp.

In addition to Chinyemba, the other African boxer in the flyweight division is Cape Verde’s David Pina.
