Paris 2024 Olympic Games, July 26 – August 10: Algeria’s Hedjila crashes out

Algeria’s Hedjila Khelif is the sixth African boxer to be bundled out of the Paris Olympics boxing tournament today, July 29.

She proved no match for Serbia’s Natalia Shadrina who beat her by a unanimous decision.

With Hedjila out, 17 African boxers are still in contention for the coveted Olympic medals.
