Three-time winners of the best cadet corps award (Baby Police) in the Ashaiman Municipality as well as the best Greater Accra Regional cadet corp last year, Bright Brain Aflatoun Academy held their annual graduation ceremony which coincided with their 10th anniversary celebrations last week.
As usual, the ‘Baby Police Force’ were at their best, displaying their known attributes from cadet, rap in French, cultural display, poetry recitals and a host others.
In the opening remarks the proprietor of the school, Mr. Kennedy Owusu said the Ashaiman-Jerico based school run an international and worldwide curriculum, which is the secret success of the school.
He promised that the school will set a record in a year to come when they present their first batch of basic nine students for the BECE exams.
The special guest of honour for the graduation who doubles as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ashaiman Municipality, Hon. Albert Boakye Okyere, in his opening remarks, urged the students to take learning seriously both at school and at home.
In addition, he asked all parents to be vigilant and monitor their wards against watching unnecessary series on TV.
Hon. Okyere also praised the school and it’s proprietors for taking Ashaiman to a worldwide academic level.
In attendance to also grace the occassion ans inspect the parade of the ‘Baby Police’ cadet corps of the school was the Commander of Police for Ashaiman Municipality, Superintendent Osman Alhassan.
As usual, the star girl of the school, Elorm Abby Maadey Adzigodi was at her best as she participated in all the activities of the day including cultural display, choreography, MC, and many others which attracted the toast of all parents and observants who came out to catch a glimpse of the event.
In his closing remarks, the headmaster of the school, Solomon Sackey reinstated that all the teachers employed at the school were all University graduates who are committed to the academic success and progress of the school.
Certificates of graduation were awarded to the graduands ranging from creche to Basic seven during which am appeal was made to the general public to also enrol their wards in the school which is noted for their academic performance and other areas of early child development and mentorship.
