The U20 female national team of Ghana, the Black Princesses have departed to Colombia ahead of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
The team left Accra on Tuesday evening for Bogota to continue preparations for the tournament which begins on August 31.
Ghana is making a seventh successive appearance at the World Cup and will be hoping to go beyond the group stage for the first time.
The West Africans have been drawn in Group E alongside former champions Japan, New Zealand and Austria.
Ghana will begin her campaign with a clash against Europeans Austria on September 2 before engaging Asian giants Japan and New Zealand in subsequent matches.
The team has been preparing for the World Cup since winning the African Games gold in March. The Black Princesses started camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence before moving to Cape Coast.
