The IGP, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has met with Policewoman, Grace Minta, the armwrestling world champion in the women’s 80kg category at the just ended world championship in Moldova, and commended her for the unprecedented achievement for the service and Ghana.
Dr. Dampare hailed Grace Minta a worthy ambassador of the service and one who must mentor future champions.
The IGP indicated that Ghana must reward this great sportswoman better than the Police Service.
He further charged Flfederations to explore innovative ways to commercialize sports results to generate revenue and create employment opportunities.
