The renowned MTN Invitational Golf tournament hits the Achimota Golf Club this weekend with the first competition of this year, it has been confirmed.
Over one hundred golfers cut from across the country are expected to battle for a plethora of mouthwatering prizes on the greens of the premier golf club in this Fouders’ Day special.
The MTN Invitational tournament is a novelty of the communication giants involving Ghana’s top golfers and travels across various golf clubs all over Ghana, and it’s Achimota who take turn to host the prestigious event this Saturday, September 21.
According to the MTN sponsors, a total of 12 categories of prizes and rewards will be shared among the various winners at the end of the one-day tournament.
“Being their maiden tournament this year, MTN have put up a lot of surprise packages for the contestants. We expect a friendly atmosphere in the midst of competition, it inspires a lot,” a statement from the organisers.
All roads lead to the greens of Achimota on Saturday. Tee-off is at 6.30 am.
