Kwame Poku scores on return as Kotoko best Gold Stars

Striker Kwame Poku scored on his return to Asante Kotoko in their 2-0 win over Gold Stars FC in match day 15 of the Premier League on Friday evening.

The striker made an iconic return to Kumasi with the second goal as Kotoko continued their impressive run of form at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Captain Justice Blay opened the scoring for the Porcupine Warriors through the spot kick in the 20th minute.

Poku, who has rejoined the club for a second spell, sealed the victory with the second goal in the 73rd minute.

Asante Kotoko have now leapfrogged Gold Stars FC into second position with the two teams tied on 27 points each.
