Inoue demolished Kim and remains undisputed champion

Naoya Inoue had another great performance and defended his World Boxing Association (WBA) super bantamweight championship by knocking out Ye Joon Kim in the fourth round during the fight held this Friday at the Ariake Arena, in Koto Ku, Japan.

The undisputed champion also retained his IBF, WBC and WBO crowns in a dominant display, in which he gave no chance to the Korean to continue as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters of the moment.

From the first moment the superiority of the 31-year-old Japanese was noticed and it was known that it was only a matter of time for him to define the fight. After several rounds of punishments in the fourth chapter, he landed a combination that sent Kim to the canvas in bad shape, so the referee decided not to finish the count and give the victory to Inoue.

It was the 29th victory in the professional career of the “Monster”, who is still undefeated and got his 26th knockout. In the case of Kim, he improved his balance to 21 wins, 3 losses, 2 draws and 13 knockouts.
