License D Coaching Course beneficiaries receive certificates from GARFA

The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) has officially handed over certificates to 43 Colts club coaches and 20 Women’s Division One coaches who successfully completed the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) free License D Coaching Course.

The certificate presentation ceremony took place on Monday at the GHALCA Secretariat at the Accra Sports Stadium, recognizing the efforts and commitment of the participants in upgrading their coaching skills.

The initiative aims to equip grassroots and women’s football coaches with the necessary knowledge and expertise to develop young talents across the country.

Present at the event were Michael Daasebre Adu Asare, the GFA’s Coordinator responsible for RFAs, along with GA RFA Chairman and Executive Council member Samuel Aboabiri. Also in attendance was Michael Fiaduse, a member of the National Juvenile Committee.

The dignitaries took turns congratulating the participants and urging them to apply their newly acquired skills to improve football development at the grassroots and women’s levels.

This initiative is part of the FA’s broader vision to improve coaching standards across all levels of Ghanaian football. With better-trained coaches, the future looks promising for young footballers aiming to develop their skills and progress to higher levels of the game.

The successful completion of the License D Coaching Course marks a significant step in strengthening football at the grassroots level in the Greater Accra region, ensuring a brighter future for both Colts and Women’s Division One football.

Dates will be announced for the 2025 batch of trainees for the free License D Coaching Course.
