Boxing championship ‘in Support of AFBC President Eyassu’ held in Angola

The boxing community in Angola hosted a special championship, “In Support of AFBC President Eyassu,” in Luanda on March 15, 2025.

The event was organized by David Da Silva Atada, José Gomes, and David António Nzulama, bringing together 16 male and female boxers for a night of intense competition and celebration of African boxing.

Powered by Papa Kis Lola, the championship aimed to promote the sport in Angola while recognizing the leadership of AFBC President Eyassu, whose efforts have been instrumental in the growth of boxing across Africa.

The tournament featured thrilling matchups, showcasing the skill, determination, and sportsmanship of the participating athletes. Organizers emphasized their commitment to developing boxing in the region and providing opportunities for young fighters to shine on the continental stage.

With strong support from the boxing community, this event marked another milestone in strengthening the sport in Africa. The AFBC continues to play a vital role in elevating boxing talent and fostering the next generation of champions.
