The Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi has been confirmed as the host venue for all four quarter-final matches of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup, setting the stage for an exciting weekend of top-tier football action in the Ashanti Regional capital, Saturday to Sunday, March 29-30.

A competition which is living up to it’s own mantra, ‘obiaa nye obia’ with an even field of four lower tier sides still in contention against four Premier League sides.

The last 8 of the competition begins on Saturday with Attram De Vesser taking on PAC Academy in an all Division One League clash that guaratees a first semi final ticket for the second tier league. This will be followed by a highly anticipated regional derby between Bono top flight rivals, Berekum Chelsea and Bechem United under floodlights.

Sunday’s concluding doubleheader pits Premier League hostshots, Karela United against surprise Division One League side,  Golden Kicks who kicked out record winners, Accra Hearts of Oak in the opening match.

The final quarter final fixture sees Kumasi giants and favourites, Asante Kotoko face-off with Tema based True Democracy who were playing in the Division Two League this same time last year

WThe decision to centralize the games at Baba Yara ensures a thrilling spectacle for supporters and guarantees the best football experience as teams battle for a place in the final four, set a statement from the Ghana Football Association.

The MTN sponsors have also urged football fans to flock the Baba Yara Stadium in their numbers to witness the drama, passion, and excitement with mouthwatering surprises in store.
