Ghana U15s thrash Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-1 to clinch 2025 Mondialito Cup

The U-15 National team have won the 2025 Mondialito Promise tournament after beating Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-1 in the final match.

After two impressive wins on Day One of the tournament, the National U15 side started Day two with a 2-0 win over Maccabi Petah Tikva before thumping Hapoel Tel Aviv 4-0 to book a place in the final.

In a repeat of the opening match of the competition, Coach Yaw Preko’s side took on Israeli champions Maccabi Tel Aviv in the final match.

Robinho Gavi, James Ofori, Ebenezer Adjei and Abdulai Aziz Issah were all on the scoresheet for Ghana with Maccabi getting a consolation goal in the final minute of the game.

Sensational winger John Andor was awarded a trophy after being adjudged as Best Player of the tournament.
