Ghana shines at African Youth Games 2025

Ghana is shining bright at the African Youth Games 2025, held in Luanda, Angola! The country’s athletes have brought home an impressive haul of medals, with badminton leading the charge.

Medal Breakup:

– Badminton: 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 4 Bronze
– Athletics: 1 Silver, 3 Bronze
– Karate: 1 Bronze
– Golf: 1 Bronze

The Ghanaian badminton team’s standout performance earned them the top spot, with athletes like Amofa Andy, Obapomba Adu-Mintah, Rachel Quarcoo, and Moslena Asu showcasing their exceptional skills.

Ghana’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams, praised the athletes, saying, “The energy and determination of this team have been phenomenal.” The Ghana Olympic Committee also lauded the team’s achievements, highlighting their growth and potential.

This remarkable performance positions Ghana as a strong contender for future international competitions, including the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games. Congratulations, Team Ghana.
