The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Puma have officially unveiled the Black Stars’ kits for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, sparking immediate conversation regarding the price point for fans.

The official retail price for the new home and away jerseys has been set at GHS 1,092.

While this represents the standard retail price for the national collection, some specialized “player version” kits, which feature the exact ULTRAWEAVE technology used by the athletes on the pitch, are expected to retail for up to GHS 1,600 at select premium outlets.

The pricing strategy comes amid high demand for the new designs, which incorporate culturally significant motifs like the Kwaku Ananse (spider) web and Adinkra symbols.

Puma confirmed that the kits will be available for public purchase globally starting March 24, 2026. To ensure accessibility, the GFA has partnered with local vendors in Accra and Kumasi to facilitate distribution, though fans are warned to verify authenticity to avoid counterfeit versions circulating at lower price points.

In preparation for the tournament, the Black Stars have a busy schedule of friendlies and competitive fixtures. Before heading to North America, Ghana will play series of friendlies in March and early June.

Ghana will take on Austria on March 27 and Germany on March 30 before other games in June.

These matches serve as critical preparation for their Group L campaign. Ghana’s World Cup journey officially begins on June 17, 2026, against Panama in Toronto, Canada followed by a high-stakes clash with England on June 22 in Boston, and concluding the group stage against Croatia on June 27 in Philadelphia, both in the USA.
