A 2026 FIFA World Cup travel initiative to airlift Ghanaian fans interested in travelling to support the Black Stars at the global soccer showpiece scheduled for USA, Canada and Mexico, June 11-July 19 has been launched in Accra, with a caution to potential beneficiaries to honour the terms of their visa and return home at the end of the tournament.
Organised by Accra based Sprint N Limited in partnership with Ultimate Holdings Limited and fully backed by the Ministry of Tourism, the “Follow the Black Stars” initiative seeks to actively facilitate travel arrangements for supporters to the tournament at a cost of $9,000 (nine thousand US Dollars) per person.

Registration comes with a $500 and Gh¢10,000 commitment and application fee, covering visa application, return airtickets, accommodation for 30 days, tickets to watch all three Black Stars group games, internal transportation and insurance cover.
Present at the event were a representative of the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture & Creative Arts and MP for Ayawaso North Yusif Issaka Jajah, Alhaji Sadiq, former Accra Hearts of Oak board member Alhaji Braimah Akanbi and Alhaji Karim.
Ghana makes a 5th appearance on football’s biggest stage, having previously participated at the 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2022 World Cups. The Black Stars have been drawn in Group L where they face Panama in Toronto, Canada on June 17 before games against England in Boston and Croatia in Philadelphia, both in the USA on June 23 and 27 respectively.
Bryant University, Rhodes Islands is set to serve as the Black Stars’ base camp, with Ghanaian football authorities keen to reinforce the national team’s pedigree, rich and exciting history in the competition, and this initiative is determined to ensure that supporters are not left behind.

Speaking at the high-profile unveiling of the packages at the their plush East Legon offices last Saturday, CEO of Sprint N Limited, Alhaji Tofick Sulley Ultimate called for supporters to be disciplined and law abiding during the tournament and return home after the games.
“You are going to support the Black Stars, please don’t conceive the intention that you will not return. We pray that the by God’s grace, the Black Stars get to the final and win the World Cup but after that please come back to your homes,” Alhaji Ultimate appealed.
“Discipline is very essential at the stadiums and everywhere in these three vibrant nations, USA, Canada and Mexico. Supporters must be wary and be guided to stay on the side of the law at all times”
