Aduana Stars target league title, ready to take down Karela in opening game

Communications Director of Aduana Stars, Evans Oppong has revealed that their target for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season is to win the ultimate prize at the end of the season.

The much anticipating 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season commenced yesterday with a game between Accra Lions and Elmina Sharks which ended 1-1.

” We want to focus mostly on wining the league as much as possible. We have worked defensively starting form the Frontline, the midfield, and the defense, they are doing so well, and I believe with current players we have, I believe strongly we can win the league” he told Nzema-based West End Radio in an interview.

The Ogya boys will open their GPL account against Karela United at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday and speaking ahead of the game at Aiyinase, Mr. Oppong declared his side’s readiness to run away with all three points.

“It’s going to be a tricky game looking at our previous meeting there, Karela are always strong at home” he told West End Radio.

”But our players are technically ready to face Karela United and I’m confident we will win,” he said.
