National Sports Authority chief pledges support for skating and Kho-kho

A positive mission definitely deserves a helping hand.

From a humble perspective of a good mission which daily promotes a positive conduct in the youth, as well as upholding the gentle flag of Ghana and the Sports council in higher esteem, the Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA) of Ghana, Prof. Peter Twumasi, in a cordial dialogue with the President of Kho-Kho Federation of Ghana, Secretary General for the West African Region of World Skate Africa and the Federation of Roller Sports, Mr. Kportufe Johnson Gameli, led to the humble pledge from the NSA Director to accord his maximum support and effort to help promote and develop these humble sports categories to a much better dimension.

Among the discussion of the journey covered so far by these least sponsored sports, highlighted various challenges encountered, of which the Sports Development Officer discussed with the NSA Director to help secure land to build a multipurpose facility for Roller Sports, Kho-Kho and other disciplines in Ghana.
