All ten Regional Football Associations have received sets of jerseys and equipment for this year’s edition of the 2023 KGL Foundation U-17 Inter-regional Colts Championship.
Each region received two sets of jerseys, 20 footballs, 40 bibs and a set of cones to be used in the competition which will be staged in Kumasi from Saturday, September 30 to Sunday, October 8, 2023.
Chairpersons of the respective regions were at the GFA Secretariat to receive the equipment which was presented to them by GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku at the Head of Office of the Association.
Present at the brief presentation were Chairpersons of the Greater Accra RFA, Western Region RFA, Volta Region RFA, Central Region RFA amongst others.
This year’s competition will have the ten Regional Football Associations select the best U-17 players from their Colts competitions to represent their regions.
Fixtures for the competition were announced last Friday after a draw which was held at the Conference room of the GFA.
Central Region, Western Region, Ashanti Region, Brong Ahafo Region and Upper West region make up Group A while Group B include Greater Accra Region, Northern Region, Upper East Region, Volta region and Eastern Region.
