Medeama, Dreams to know CAF club’s group stage opponents Friday

Ghana champions, Medeama SC and FA Cup winners, Dreams FC will know their immediate next continental opponents when the the official draw for the group stages of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup is conducted on Friday, 6 October 2023 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The draw will start at (10h00 GMT) 13h00 Johannesburg – starting with the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup draw. This will be followed by the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League draw.

It will be live on CAF Official website: CAFONLINE.com and CAF YouTube (CAFTV).

Ghana champions, Medeama are one of the qualified teams for the 2023/24 CAF Champions League group stage

Following an intense preliminary round that kicked off in August, 16 Clubs for both competitions have now secured their respective places in the group stages.  Both champions of the two competitions, Al Ahly SC (CAFCL) and USM Alger (CAFCC) will feature in the Draw along with other household names of African football who will be looking at achieving continental glory this season.

Amongst some of exciting names in the Champions League include Mauritania’s FC Nouadhibou who surprised Real Bamako while Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana eliminated 1995 champions Orlando Pirates.
