Santasi striking duo celebrate one of their table topping 7 goals

Santasi won two matches and drew the other to top Zone D of the ongoing 2024 MTN Ashantifest Community Soccer tournament and therefore grabbed a qualifying ticket to the quarter finals which begin this Thursday, 11 July at the Dichemso Otumfuor Park.

After drawing 1-1 with Bantama in the opening match, Santasi went on to record emphatic 3-0 wins over former champions, Tafo and Mamponteng respectively to gain a goal difference of +6 in addition to their insurmountable 7 points.

Also qualified from the section are perennial MTN Ashantifest Community Soccer campaigners, Bantama who finished two points below Santasi but their sole win, 1-0 against Mamponteng coupled with their unbeaten run, proved decisive to book a last 8 tie against 2022 winners, Abrepo on Friday.
