Albert Amoah versus Stephen Amankona in MTN FA Cup last 4 cracker

Albert Amoah and Stephen Amankona are two standout players in the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup, set to clash in the semi-final at the T&A Park in Tarkwa on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

Let’s take a look at their contributions to Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea:

Albert Amoah has been a fan favorite for Asante Kotoko this season, scoring crucial goals in both the MTN FA Cup and Ghana Premier League. With two goals in two matches, he’s hoping to add to his tally and propel his team to the final. Asante Kotoko last played in the final in 2017, when they won 3-1 against Hearts of Oak at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale, claiming their 9th Cup title. Amoah is known for his ball control, effectiveness on both wings, and ability to lead the line as a lone striker or auxiliary attacker.

Stephen Amankona is Berekum Chelsea’s top scorer in the MTN FA Cup, with three goals in three games. He scored the winning goal in their quarter-final match against Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and is determined to help Berekum Chelsea win their first MTN FA Cup title. Notably, Amankona will be playing against his former club, having had an unsuccessful stint with Asante Kotoko in the 2021/22 season. The 25-year-old is known for his speed, combative style, and efficiency across the wings, scoring with both feet. With an impressive goal-scoring rate, Amankona has netted about 45 goals in 119 matches across competitions, making him a key player for Berekum Chelsea in their quest for silverware this season.

The semi-final match between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea is scheduled for Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the T&A Park in Tarkwa.
