The Black Maidens delivered a dominant performance to defeat Togo U17 Women’s National Team 6-0, sealing an emphatic 8-0 aggregate victory to advance to the next round of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

The Maidens wasted no time asserting their authority, taking the lead in the 7th minute through Juliana Gyekyewaa, who finished confidently to set the tone for the game.

The advantage was doubled just minutes later when Zeinab Shani found the back of the net in the 14th minute with a composed effort.

The Black Maidens continued the relentless attacking display, and Sekinatu Amadu added a third in the 20th minute to put the tie firmly beyond Togo’s reach.

Ghana’s dominance persisted, and Shani grabbed her second of the match in the 43rd minute to give the hosts a commanding 4-0 lead at halftime.

Priscilla Mensah extended the lead in the 77th minute with a clinical finish, while captain Seidatu Wahab capped off a perfect performance with a stoppage-time goal to complete the 6-0 rout.

This victory sees Ghana progress comfortably to the next stage, where they will face Liberia U17 Women’s National Team in what promises to be another exciting test.
